At Biscuits & Beans Cat Café, there are just a few things happening, all designed to fit together easily. Think of us as a regular corner café, a calm cat lounge next door, and a nonprofit partner focused on cat welfare. Each part has a clear role, and you’re free to engage with as much, or as little, as you’d like.
You can always start with the café. Walk in, order your drink, grab a seat, and settle in just like you would anywhere else. No reservations required. We serve a few medium-roast coffees, cold-brew classics, a dozen different teas, lemonades, and 20+ chilled creations, along with baked goodies and a few thoughtful treats – including our signature shareable 6-oz Kindness Biscuit, an easy way to enjoy something sweet & savory while supporting the cats. Visiting the cat lounge, adopting, or donating is always optional.
If you’d like time with cats, that happens in our fully glass-enclosed cat lounge; a separate space designed specifically for the comfort of our adopt-ready cats and the guests who visit them. Entry is by reservation and booked online. Sessions begin at noon daily, run for 40 minutes at the start of each hour, and are capped at seven guests per session to keep the environment calm and uncrowded. Inside, guests are encouraged to relax, observe, and interact gently, always at the cats’ pace.
All of the cats in the lounge are adoptable through our partner rescues. Adoption is never expected. If a connection does happen, our cat care team helps guide the process in a straightforward, supportive way, often allowing approved adopters to take their cat home the same day.
Alongside the café, Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care operates as our sister nonprofit, working independently to support rescue partners through food, litter, medical care, spay and neuter services, adoption support, and rehabilitation. Donations are optional, clearly identified, and used solely for cat welfare.
In short: enjoy the café anytime, reserve the cat lounge when you want cat time, adopt only when it feels right, and donate only if you’re moved. Each experience stands on its own, and together they create something special.
